Touchdown

From NFL Wiki

A touchdown is a method of scoring. When a team advances the ball into the opponents end zone by carrying or passing it, a touchdown is awarded. A touchdown is worth 6 points. Immediately following the touchdown, the ball is placed at the opponent's 2 yard line and the scoring team has the option to kick the ball through the Goalpost (commonly referred to as an "extra point"), or to run or pass the ball into the end zone (commonly referred to as a "two point conversion"). This is basically scoring another touchdown from the 2 yard line.

  • If they choose to kick it, and it is good, they are awarded 1 point
  • If they choose to go for the touchdown, and succeed, they are awarded 2 points.

After the extra point, the scoring team kicks off tho the other team.
