John William Standeford was born on April 15, 1982 in Monrovia, Indiana, and is currently a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts.
John Standeford started his football career at Monrovia High School in Monrovia, Indiana. John also was an Indiana All-Star in basketball. After high school, he attended Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. He majored in Elementary Education and did his student teaching at Attica High School in Attica, Indiana. Currently, as of the 2006 season, he is a member of the practice squad for the Indianapolis Colts. Although, he did participate in all the pre-season games.
