Jerry Rice

From NFL Wiki

He was a great wideout for the San Francisco 49ERS, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks. Rice was a great wideout 13-time Pro Bowler and 10 time-all pro wide. He played with greats like Joe Montana, Terrell Owens, Steve Young, and Ricky Watters. He won 3- super bowls including his 200 yard performance against the Cincinnati Bengals. What a Great comeback. He was named MVP of the Super Bowl. Rice was named to the 1980’s and 1990’s all- Decades teams. His college was Mississippi Valley State. He holds the records for career receptions, receiving yards and also touchdowns. Rice played 21 long years in the NFL! He is the best wide ever! I think he is the best. No wonder Rice is in the Hall Of Fame in college football (NCAA.) Also Rice was on PROS VS. Joes, a TV show on Spike were real sports athletes face people who either played sports in high school or college but they never became actual professional athletes. He ranked number two on the Sporting News top 100 greatest NFL players only NFL great and amazing running back for the Cleveland Browns Jim Brown ranks ahead of him. In the 80’s Rice really helped the 49ers reach the super bowl. He also reached a Super Bowl with the Oakland Raiders but they lost to the Super Bowl Champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I bet if it wasn’t for Rice the 49ERS wouldn’t have won so many Super Bowls he was a great part of each championship team. Rice along with Montana made a great combination and also with Steve Young, and he was their favorite target. Rice one season had a great season when he got 122 receptions, 1848 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns. Other season Rice got 86 receptions, 1570 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns. That proves how good Jerry was. Rice also holds the record for points scored by a non kicker. He even holds 11 Super Bowl records. That’s a great accomplishment because he played in so many Super Bowls that’s why he holds so many records. Rice holds the most career QB WR TD combination Rice/Young they have 82 career touchdowns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a great accomplishment and another part of history added to Jerry Rice’s resume. Right now Rice isn’t eligible for the Nfl because he retired in 2005 so I bet once he is eligible he will get in as a first ballot. Rice was a great player and still is.
